The type of the headset to be used is determined by the type of the headtube of the deck. Integrated headtubes have built-in cups, which allow the headset to be mounted without any effort for easy installation. Integrated decks can be used only with integrated headsets. Non-integrated decks, on the other hand, require a non-integrated headset, which can be harder to install.
